Kelsey Rose, MPH, RDN, RD

Join us for our next meeting on Wednesday, July 7th @ 6:00 pm EST where Kelsey L. Rose MPH, RDN, LDN, will be discussing the Importance of the Role of Registered Dietitians in Eating Disorder Treatment.

Kelsey L. Rose MPH, RDN, LDN is a Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Nutrition fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. She recently graduated with a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan and completed her dietetic training in the treatment of eating disorders at Simmons University. Kelsey strives to be both an eating disorder clinician and prevention researcher. She is passionate about deconstructing norms around traditional ideas of health and wellness so that all individuals may find a space to care for their mind and body, if they desire. Kelsey’s work focuses on promoting body diversity and challenging the SWAG (Skinny White Affluent Girls) stereotype that limits recognition and treatment of eating disorders. During her free time, you can find her outside with her dog Abeline or reading a good book.

Eling Tsai, MPH RD

Eling Tsai (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Miami, and earned her Master of Public Health degree at the Yale School of Public Health. She completed her dietetic internship through Sodexo in New York City. Eling creates a nonjudgmental space to help people find peace in their relationship with food. Using a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) and Intuitive Eating informed approach, she works with her clients to improve their well-being, body image, and outlook around food while working towards nutrition-related goals and managing a range of medical conditions. She has a special interest in disordered eating and eating disorders, particularly binge eating disorder, as well as management of diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions. Eling believes a positive and energizing relationship with food and body should be a right for all people. When she’s not counseling, Eling is active with community-based organizations in NYC. She delivers nutrition-related programming for youth at risk for homelessnness through her role at Covenant House, and is also Board Treasurer for The Brooklyn Queens Land Trust, an organization that protects community gardens.
